Patience, my dear.

Well, I had a great day! I layed out by the pool for a few hours and worked on my tan. I was supposed to work today but got a pleasant surprise from my boss. Everything is slow and they are cutting back on payroll! Less money, more free time. Win-lose situation.
Enough about that. I hope you all saw my last post about my giveaway. I am so excited to be able to do this. If I am going to have a giveaway, something good should come out of it. What could be a better outcome than helping spread the word about some amazing charities? Again, if any of you are confused about what you have to do to qualify to win, hit me up! I'd be glad to answer any of your questions! OH, and since I am still going to be frequently publishing posts, I added a link to the giveaway instructions on the left-hand sidebar.
So...I did start this post for a reason. I've noticed myself losing patience with certain people. I have a very low tolerance level and I want to fix that about myself. I sometimes get aggravated when asked simple questions, to do simple tasks, or repeat myself. It is unhealthy and something I am really struggling to fix.
Sometimes I find it helpful to look up inspirational quotes about what I am dealing with.
Let me share some quotes with you about patience. If you know any that you'd like to share, feel free to leave them in a comment. I need all the help I can get.

Learn the art of patience. Apply discipline to your thoughts when they become anxious over the outcome of a goal. Impatience breeds anxiety, fear, discouragement and failure. Patience creates confidence, decisiveness, and a rational outlook, which eventually leads to success.
-Brian Adams

It is very strange that the years teach us patience - that the shorter our time, the greater our capacity for waiting.
-Elizabeth Taylor

Patience serves as a protection against wrongs as clothes do against cold. For if you put on more clothes as the cold increases, it will have no power to hurt you. So in like manner you must grow in patience when you meet with great wrongs, and they will then be powerless to vex your mind.
-Leonardo da Vinci

Have patience with all things, but chiefly have patience with yourself. Do not lose courage in considering your own imperfections but instantly set about remedying them - every day begin the task anew.
-St. Francis de Sales

Patience is the best remedy for every trouble.
-Titus Maccius Plautus

Well, I have found this to be pretty helpful. I hope you have too. I just needed to get that off my chest. It's time for bed. I hope you are all working on those charity posts. Talk to ya soon!

Sogni d'oro! (That's 'Sweet dreams!' in Italian) <3
